Sony's Motion Controller finally made its debut on the Playstation 3.


Its called the Playstation Move.

What motion controller does best is to provide casual gamer, or non gamer, a simple yet fun way to play games.

Similar design to the Wii with a safety strap

As you might know, the controller design is very much the same as the Nintendo Wii motion controller. Wii has long been the only console in the market that offers motion control and already sold millions since its release.

Eying such market potential, who wouldn't want a share of the pie chart? Playstation Move, however, seems more like a peripheral rather than a console driver. Its already too late for Sony to dive into the market. Unless it could redefine gaming, we don't see the potential of gamers paying another $100 just to have a 'casual' gaming experience. You can have a Nintendo Wii console plus the controller for $199 now.
